The bee have a flight day!

13 Nov 2025, temper at 50°F, calm and clear skies. The bees are busy looking to gain access to other colonies and anything thing else that might be a resource. I barely stepped out my front door and was immediately investigated.

The Lacy Phacelia is done, but the bees are scout for any remaining pollen or nectar there might be. The bees were checking out the the blossoms next to the bottom of the plant just above ground level. Maybe some were frost protected. We have a few nights where temps fell below the 18° F mark, which as advertised did the Phacelia in for this year.

Put out some pollen sub for the bees to work if they wanted to. Immediate hit.

Pollen a big hit today!
