We're a friendly bunch of about 15 local beekeepers who go by the name Northwest Minnesota Beekeepers Association. We kicked off our club in 2023 and meet monthly at the public library.

We're based in the Thief River Falls MN area, but we’ve got members from all over the neighboring counties in NW Minnesota. Most of us are Backyard/Hobbyist beekeepers, with a couple of Sideliners thrown in for good measure. Experience levels in our group range from absolute Newbees (just starting out) to folks who’ve been buzzing around for over 20 years.

We love having new faces join us, so whether you’re curious about beekeeping or just want to soak up some knowledge, come on over and check out a meeting!

We gather every fourth Thursday from January to October at the Thief River Falls public library. Meetings kick off at 6 pm and usually wrap up by 7 pm, but sometimes we get so into the info that we go a bit longer.
